The 3 day cross-channel weekend provides a chance for those wishing to experience a channel crossing under the watchful eye of an instructor.
These cruises are for anyone with a bit of sailing experience, from those wanting the chance to skipper a longer passage themselves and/or complete a couple of 60NM passages for their Yachtmaster qualifications to those who just want to experience a channel crossing as crew. They provide an opportunity for all to try what is an important rite of passage sailing to France/The Channel islands and gaining experience of navigating the busy English Channel shipping lanes, being out of sight of land, running watch systems and arriving at a foreign port.
A typical format would be setting off for Cherbourg/Alderney on the Thursday evening, arriving sometime on Friday and then heading to another port later that day or the following before heading home. As always this is dependent on weather. There will be also be free time to explore or catch up on sleep!

COST: £655 (this includes fuel and provisions. Mooring fees will be shared amongst the crew)
PLEASE NOTE: A minimum/max of 5 crew are required for this trip to go ahead. We will make a final call around the 6 week mark as to the viability of this trip. Please do sign up if intending to commit. In the unlikely event of LCSC needing to cancel, a full refund will be given. General T & C's apply to those signed up.
